I love all her series, but I think that this one is one of my favorite series that she had written. I have read a few vampire series through the years, but none of them were anything like this one. As her other books in the end, there was another twist and I have a feeling that it cannot end well, not for Karina, not for Peter. Especially once he finds out the feelings that she has for Noah. I had feeling that there would be trouble when Fae asked Karina for her memories of Peter, in exchange of bringing back Peter from the dead. I had a bad feeling about it. Annika, being a Nephilim when all of them supposed to be gone.
I wonder if she slowly started to come into her powers then, without realizing it. If I were in her situation, I would have a breakdown a long time ago. There only someone one person would be able to handle. Even Angel. I was happy that Jacen and Annika was finally be able to reunite and finally be together. I was hoping they would. After everything that the two of them went throught, it seemed as if something always seemed to get in a way.
It made me happy that they could finally be with each other. I just hope that nothing gets in their way, to tear them apart. There were times I liked her, but at times I felt that there was something off about her. Like Annika I wondered how she was getting that blood that Annika to keep her appearance.
What surprised me, was her and Laila. I did not see that coming, considering that she had agreed to help Annika get rid of the Queen. Now it all makes sense. Like Annika, I was in complete shock. Now that Laila is dead, I wonder what will happen with Geneva, if she will want to seek revenge. I am eager to see how all of this will come to an end. Another astonishing addition to the Vampire Wish series. Sep 27, Kayla rated it it was amazing. First of all, I just want to say thank you to Michelle Madow for giving me an ARC of this book to read in exchange for an honest review.
No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion. After the massive cliffhanger at the end The Vampire Trick , a major secret that changed everything we knew about Annika, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Vampire Fate. I love that this series always picks up right where the previous book left off.

This series is full of action, magic, romance, supernatural characters, drama, excitement, and danger. What else could you ask for in a book series?! This installment is huge in the overall storyline. It answered a lot of questions and the answers will blow your mind! Not only does this book answer a lot of questions, but now we are left with some new ones. That ending Holy cow!! If I have learned one thing from reading Michelle's books it's that you never know what to expect! I love this series because these books suck you in and you can't put them down!
I finished reading this one in less than 24 hours and now I desperately need the next one! Sep 28, Rachel rated it it was amazing Shelves: , given-by-author. There was so much going on that I still haven't completely wrapped my head around it. This installment was a series of small events that is leading us towards more epic adventure. Really, the bulk of this book was all of the characters reactions to what happened in the previous tome. The characters are trying to find answers. They're trying to find safety. Trying to find the truth. All of this leads to a new beginning leading towards a final ending of something that started long before any of us There was so much going on that I still haven't completely wrapped my head around it.
All of this leads to a new beginning leading towards a final ending of something that started long before any of us knew. Oct 02, Linda rated it really liked it Shelves: from-authors. Another enjoyable book in this Vampire Wish series. These are great in that each picks up right where the last one left off and continues to be full of action, delightful characters and intrigue. I am so impressed with how quickly Michelle Madow can think up, write and release each book which is awesome for us readers! Looking forward to the next in the series!!
Masquerade of the Vampire
I read an ARC of the third book in this series just before it released, and I really enjoyed where the author took the storyline, so I was looking forward to reading this book and seeing where it went next! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed this book just as much as the others! The plot developed at the perfect pace and I zoomed through it! I did think that this book was slightly longer than some of the others I read an ARC of the third book in this series just before it released, and I really enjoyed where the author took the storyline, so I was looking forward to reading this book and seeing where it went next!
I did think that this book was slightly longer than some of the others in the series, so it did take me a little longer to get through it! The plot also went in a direction that I wasn't really expecting, but I loved where the author took it and it did go in a direction that suited the story and characters! The plot also had a few twist and turns too and these really changed the plot!
The romance was back in this book too, which I loved! There wasn't a lot of romance in the last two books, so I was really happy that it was back in this book! The characters were again amazing and made this book for me! Annika was again the main female character, and in this book there was a part of me that felt very sorry for her!
She discovered more about herself and about what she was and this must have been very difficult for her! Annika did try her best to absorb this information and to embrace what she was and this made me respect her a lot! She was also very strong and she had come a long way from the girl introduced at the beginning of the first book! I also connected with Annika all the way through this book too and I didn't lose that connection with her!
Jacen was again the main male character and love interest of Annika! I loved Jacen a lot in this book! He did try and be a bit sneaky with some of the characters, but it was to protect Annika and to give him the chance to find her! Jacen also never stopped trusting Annika and he showed her this by agreeing to go on a dangerous mission with her, even though they were going into the unknown! It was also easy to see that Jacen still had strong feelings for Annika and he definitely showed her just how much he missed her lol!
This book was written from multiple point of views! I was obviously expecting this because the other books in the series were written from multiple point of views too! This book was mainly written from Annika's point of view, which was completely understandable, but some chapters were written from Jacen, Karina, Camelia and Thomas' point of views too!
I really enjoyed this book being written from a few different point of views because it added more to the story and allowed for more things to happen in the plot! It helped me connect more with all the characters too! The ending of this book was also left at the perfect place to lead into the next book and it's left me excited for the next book!
I also think that the next book is the final book, which does make me really sad, but I can't wait to find out how Annika's journey is going to end! I'm hoping that the next book releases in a few months time, so that I don't have to wait ages for it to release lol! The cover for this book is different to what I was expecting, but it suits the book!
Oct 04, Topsues rated it really liked it. This book is part of a series that requires you to read the previous 3 books, so you know who is who and what is what. I have written before about the great talent I find Michelle Madow has as an author. About her ability to be able to write emotions that feel so real you think there your own, and also about the limitless imagination she has. This series has all the marks of a mini tv series, I sit and wait for every book.
I have become so invested in the characters that I need to know what happ This book is part of a series that requires you to read the previous 3 books, so you know who is who and what is what. I have become so invested in the characters that I need to know what happens next. In book 4 you once again find the main characters and read them all in the first person. This style gives you there thoughts, feelings and interpretations on the storyline. Therefore giving you the chance to find your personal favourite. We also find some new characters developing on the sidelines, there wasn't loads of input from them, but the tidbits we did receive are enough to know that some or maybe all, will develop into more as the series continues.
There lies my crux, I don't want Any further books, I don't want any further spectacular cliffhangers, I want, no I need the series to end, as I cannot face another wait to find out the outcome of the characters journeys. I Get the book, I read the book, well past my bedtime I might add, I get all wound up, sitting with bated breath then pow!!
Cliffhanger and end. So I say no, to all the citizens out there, let us band together and demand that Michelle Madow is bought forward and made to give us the ending to her series. Got a little carried away there. But as you can see I have found this to be an exciting, thought provoking series, with distrust, betrayal, mystery, suspense along with friendship, love, support, belief and so much more. The places you are transported to are so easy to see, it's like you are a fly on the wall, watching everything transpire. So to sum up, books are great, they are in the right genre and age group ok, well I may be a bit Older, but this is my guilty pleasure They have great storylines.
I'm sure you find more than one favourite character. And they have explosive cliffhangers. Ok this fandom is getting bit spooky now. Oct 16, Adena rated it it was amazing. This exciting tale continues in the fourth and penultimate book in the Vampire Wish series. Once again, our perspective switches between the two main characters, and also occasionally one of the side characters.
Michelle Madow artfully weaves the plot together as we see it through different peoples' eyes. Annika's secret is finally out - Jacen and all the others at court know she was pretending to be Princess Ana, with the help of Geneva, the most powerful sorceress who ever lived. Now, that wit This exciting tale continues in the fourth and penultimate book in the Vampire Wish series. Now, that witch is trapped in a sapphire ring, and is bound to do the bidding of whoever possesses it. That's Annika. At the end of the last book, Laila, the vampire queen, challenges Annika to kill her, handing her a stake.
Unbeknownst to any of them, Annika is actually a Nephilim, the only type of being who can kill an original vampire. Laila's arrogance becomes the cause of her demise. Annika quickly escapes to the Haven, a place where violence is forbidden.

Jacen comes after her, promising his family he will kill her after procuring Geneva's ring. Of course, he has no intention of doing so. He still loves Annika, despite her deception. Can the two of them find a way to bring peace to the realm? With werewolves poised for an attack and the entire royal family out to get Annika, it's going to take something extraordinary.
At the end of the last book, I wasn't sure where the plot could go. The queen was dead, Annika was exposed - it seemed like the end of the story. Once again, Michelle Madow proves that there's always more to the story, and that the tale isn't nearly finished. The plot moves at a steady pace, keeping the reader engaged.
The characters are well developed, and because we see through alternating eyes, we understand the motives of the heroes, the villains, and the characters who may or may not turn out to be allies at the end of the day. I can't wait to see how the tale concludes in the next and final book of the series.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this novel Feb 14, Bethany rated it it was amazing. The plot twist at the end of the third book was epic and I was so excited to start this one. She's also the only one who can destroy an original vampire, which is why Laila is dead. I'm not upset about that at all. Annika escapes to the Haven, knowing that they strive for peace and abstain from violence. Through my closed eyes, I could see the light that the flames cast in every direction.
