OK Go makes humble printer paper into a star. Paper company Double A worked with the band OK Go — famous for its ultra-elaborate videos — to make a dramatic statement about the quality of its everyday product. The band members performed their track Obsession in slow motion against a backdrop of printers delivering an awe-inspiring cascade of coloured paper. Apparently not one sheet jammed during the project, which took more than two years of preparation and involved Hakuhodo unit Six Inc, along with celebrated Japanese media artist Daito Manabe and choreographer Mikiko.
The fact that a paper brand facilitated this piece of entertainment is proof that any company, regardless of how mundane its products may at first seem, can produce something genuinely interesting — if it puts its mind to it and is prepared to give the most talented people creative freedom. With four cheeky second spots, the detergent brand dominated all commercials during the big game by explaining that every ad is actually a Tide ad — just look at all those clean clothes.
Actor David Harbour, known for his role as police chief Jim Hopper on Stranger Things , realistically and wittily re-enacted well-known commercials just to flip them on their head. Just your typical beer spot with a Clydesdale ahem, Budweiser or an insurance ad? Clean spot — but this time Harbour was the one dancing around while cleaning. During a brief second-quarter blackout, Tide tweeted: "Clean clothes are still clean in the dark.
What are "disagrees"?
A Philippines tough guy tries a little tenderness. A story about an angry young man on the streets of Manila, who turns his life around after becoming a father to an abandoned child, sounds like it might be overly manipulative. The brand has been mining the "Touch of care" motif for a couple of years now. Stay signed in. Forgotten password?

I was able to recover my brand over time, but I did lose a few consulting clients during that time period, which hurt my income. I used to be a big believer that RSS traffic was the best form of traffic, but over time people stopped using their feed readers, which is why Google shut theirs down. So, why should you collect emails? Take Quick Sprout, for example.
Emails make up If you want to start collecting emails from your blog, follow the steps in this blog post. Always write for users and never for search engines. People prefer conversations over lectures. I never used to write in a conversational manner, but when I did, my time on site increased by And when I ran a Crazy Egg heatmap , I noticed that people used to scroll more than before. I always felt that design was important , but I never nit-picked every little thing. This, however, created frustration among my readers with certain things such as lack of ability to find the popular posts on Quick Sprout.
You need to be the best! And to be the best, you need an awesome design… not a mediocre one. You need one that drives traffic to your money pages, that boosts your conversion rate and, most importantly, that makes the content easy to read. The size of your font, typography and even spacing are all little things that are part of your design. Those elements can have a big impact on whether your content is going to be read by someone. When I started my first blog, all I cared about is how many visitors I had and how I could convert those visitors into customers.

Hopefully, you can avoid the mistakes I made when I first started blogging. I would hate for you to repeat my mistakes as they hindered my growth. If you want to make your blog popular, focus on solving one problem at a time.
