This book was a fun read, very quick read. The book offered common sense tips on how to travel with your dog. Although most of the tips I had heard before, it was nice to see all the ideas presented in a concise format. There were some great new ideas for traveling with your dog - for example the canine cruises - what fun! Personally, I'd have liked to see a little more detail on the activities while travelling - I went to see the dog surfing in San Diego once and wow that's a dog-friendly city!
One of the most informative parts of the book was the list of travel medications, very helpful knowledge. I received a copy from the author and this is my honest review. I found A Quick Start Guide to Traveling with Your Dog to have many good ideas with a great table of contents to get you to the information you need for a specific issue with traveling with a dog.
Do's and don'ts of leaving dogs on their own
I was impressed how complete and to the point the information is for all types of travel and have used it to travel with our Lab several times. I am sure I will be using it for a reference in the future because our girl is part of the family and we don't like to leave her home and have to depend of friends or neighbors for her care while we are away.
